I always loved the idea of being a speech and language therapist. The thought of helping people to learn or regain the ability to communicate is such a virtuous and selfless pursuit. So, this is probably the closest I’ll get!

In this ASMR therapy video James explains how we make sounds (a lot of this is probably inaccurate) and why they are important. He then proceeds with an examination of your throat and looks in your mouth with a penlight, before going on to do some speaking exercises, followed by some flash cards at the end. All of this is soft spoken with an English accent.

This video could also potentially help those of you with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) as it is all explained in a friendly, slow manner, and there are little games at the end.

Either way, I really hope you all enjoy it!

Disclaimer: This video is intended for relaxation. Any views, opinions, or advice expressed is purely for the purpose of entertainment, and to induce tingles through ASMR. These videos are not a substitute for traditional medicine, therapy, or any other professional medium, and should not be treated as such! Take all the advice with a pinch of salt, and certainly don’t take it to heart. That being said, please enjoy them, benefit from them, and hopefully get those warm, tingly feelings.

Also, I do not work for or am affiliated with the NHS, but I firmly believe in it, and am constantly amazed by the hard work and dedication that the people who work for it provide. It's an incredible institution, and their dedication to their duty of care at providing health support for some of the most vulnerable people in the UK is astounding.
