Soft spoken ASMR story about Rembrandt. If you don't want to listen to the background music, here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyKT5LbLYiw
Rembrandt van Rijn (1606-1669) is one of the most important artists in the history of Western visual arts. Why is this? Join me in this video to explore the significance of his work. We start with his most famous work "The Night Watch" (1642) and explore his century, his technique, his life and his intentions as a creator. Contrary to what the dimensions, theatricality and motion of the Night Watch could let us think, Rembrandt's genius is to be found in a totally different place.
