Welcome to New Light City, A ☽lunarpunk☾ city in the deserts of Solvoid, where the sun does not shine and witch covens worship the moon for magical powers to help them grow food in the cold empty deserts.

☽ STORY INFO ABOUT THIS SCENE ☾
⋄ In New Light City, moon witches work together to survive the cold of a dark desert without sunlight. Their violet pink glowing magic comes from their worship of the moon, and glows similar to how the mushroom trees nearby do. In the distance, Beacon Tower sends pulses of light magic across the desert to help travelers find their way, and the pale green magic of death witches flies into the sky when they steal some life essence from desert animals!

- The witches who live here in New Light City are called Kosoluma. They use Light Magic through a magical process called Lunaltering. They can absorb moonlight and cast spells with it! They can even turn moonlight into solid objects that have a neon glow, such as shields to protect them, tools for farming, and more!

⍚ WHAT IS THE SOLARPUNK SERIES?/WHAT'S GOING ON? ⍚
- ASMR Weekly has teamed up with author Connor Carbon to bring the sights & sounds of his solarpunk story world called The Carbon Coast to animated life! The Carbon Coast started off as an eco-fiction novel and Connor will be done writing it sometime in 2019. He loves the scenes of his book so much he is collaborating with ASMR Weekly to turn them into animated scenes for his channel! Connor Carbon was also one of the first ASMRtists ever, known originally as GnarGnar9000 and made ASMR videos in 2010!

⍚ HOW MANY VIDEOS WILL COME TO THE SOLARPUNK SERIES? ⍚
- We're not sure yet—maybe 11, maybe 24, but not higher than 38!

⍚ WILL THIS SLOW DOWN MY FAVORITE HARRY POTTER VIDEOS? ⍚
- Nope! Connor made sure I didn't slow down because he is a big Harry Potter fan too!

⍚ WHAT IS SOLARPUNK? ⍚
- Solarpunk is different than Steampunk and Cyberpunk. Solarpunk imagines a sustainable future of the Earth, with solar panels and gardens everywhere, eco-friendly technology, less capitalism and political corruption, and no more climate change! Solarpunk futures also do not discriminate because of race, gender, identity, ability, and more! Humans are seen and treated equally, and so are plants and animals! Nothing is perfect, "Utopia" is not possible, but Solarpunk is trying to get as close as possible: a better future for all of us and our planet!

- Lunarpunk is just like solarpunk (see above) but based on the moon and night time, darkness, and often times has magic and witches who devote to the moon!

⍚ WHAT EXACTLY IS THE CARBON COAST? ⍚
- It is the name of Connor Carbon's novel. It is also the name of the story world from his novel which is made of many things, such as these videos and more. It's kind of like how "Harry Potter" means more than just the books!
