Giving You Depression - ASMR Medical Experiment A182B

Hey luvie-luvs! Now this video is about a sensitive subject so please self-check and if you think you may be triggered, perhaps watch something different. I personally struggle with depression as well as some other mental issues and one of the ways I cope with and pull power back from depression or anxiety or CPTSD or whatever is to laugh at it (or create a character out of it, such as Psycho Surgeon who is my way of rising above my CPTSD and DID). I understand that not everyone copes this way or is capable of seeing the humor in it, and that's totally fine. You do you, boo.

But the message behind this is love. Depression is a disorder that can really knock you out and make you truly feel like shit. I understand this very well. There are days I can barely move and just want to completely disappear. If you are there right now, I want you to know that as much as it sucks and as much as it hurts, it's not going to be this way forever. That's one constant we have in life - things are always changing. Do what you can do to take care of yourself. If that means all you got today is changing your clothes or brushing your hair, cool! You did that! The weight of these actions is IMMENSE and OVERWHELMING AF when you're in a low and we need to honor that in ourselves. I know a lot of people around you can be judgmental or not understanding or all around jerks... and you just have to remember that where you are at is just outside of their emotional spectrum or personal experience... or they just aren't equipped to help others and that's on them. That is THEIR limitation, not yours. It isn't about you, as much as it may feel like it sometimes. You just do the best you can to survive today and that's enough. One day at a time.

I love all of you. Just so you know.
