Happy New Year! In this ASMR video, we keep exploring the old dream of creating the perfect human community and how it translated into architecture and urbanism. This second part is about the 20th Century and among other things I tell you about Brasilia, Garden Cities, the Bauhaus, Modernist Architecture, Postmodernism, figures like Lucio Costa, Le Corbusier, Ebenezer Howard, Oscar Niemeyer, and we visit various places, including Letchworth and Welwyn, the Barbican Estate, Radburn, la Défense, or Les Espaces d'Abraxas.

Part 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3V-OoQNsjt8 dealt with an overview of city-building since the Antiquity and various experiments from the New and the Old World (especially communities inspired by Fournier, such as Utopia, Ohio; the North American Phalanx in New Jersey; La Réunion in Texas; the Familistère de Guise, Northern France). I also told you in it about Robert Owen, the Royal Saltworks of Arc-et-Senans, the creation of Bagdad, and many more things.
