Hello my loves,

First of all, the author I mention is Lisa Lutz, not Lisa Luts. I can't spell it seems 😩 Also, the actress I mention is Adèle Haenel, I forgot to put her name on the video. What is my mind. Seriously 🥴

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have read that my mic got damaged. I'm just going to copy and paste what I wrote:

~So a month or so ago my mic took a tumble and ever since I've been having issues with it. There's a left, right and centre mic, and the centre one was completely messed up after this, but luckily I'm able to turn that one off when recording. However, the audio recording quality from the other mics seems to be diminishing by the day and I'm getting a lot of buzzing in the background. I'm able to mininise it a bit when editing but its just not good enough.

I recorded two videos the other day, one of which (this one) should be live on my channel tonight. The other one I'm still working on and I'm not sure I'll be able to clean the audio up to an acceptable standard. Others might be able to but I haven't quite got the skills yet 😂

Now for the good news, I have a new mic arriving tomorrow which I'm super excited about!! So after the next one (or possibly two) videos I'm hoping for an increase in sound quality on my channel 🤞~

So I apologise for any issues with the audio, I notice if you don't listen to it at full volume you don't notice any buzzing as much. I'd have just scrapped the recordings but I really liked the set up and felt relaxed doing them so I thought to scrap it would be a waste of some chill vibes haha. I hope you still find it relaxing.

Lots of love to you all,

Zoë ❤

ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, a term coined for the fuzzy or tingly sensation felt in response to certain audio, visual or other sensory stimuli. This sensation tends to start in the scalp but can work it's way down the body, and is associated with a strong feeling of relaxation. These videos are created to try and elicit this response, and also to be relaxing in general.
