Seraph City [ASMR] ⋄ Solarpunk ☼ Ambience of The Carbon Coast Solarpunk Novel

Welcome to Seraph City! A Solarpunk city in the future of planet Earth, where the sun never sets or rises.
Most people are sleeping at this time, but some maintenance drones and transport balloons are out keeping up with the busy lifestyle of the city.

☼ STORY INFO ABOUT THIS SCENE ☼

⋄ Seraph City is the birthplace and home city for Kota Valli, a young solarpunk citizen having a terrible last summer before graduating from Cambium Forest Academy. Last summer, one of her inventions got her in major trouble. The staff at Cambium blamed her for starting a forest fire! Kota knows it wasn't her, but is so depressed lately she just wants to abandon this city altogether. We join Kota during one of the rarest types of days Seraph City ever sees: a stormy one! If there was ever a sign of big changes to Kota's life coming, it would be these heavy thunderstorms which seems to shut down most of Seraph City.

⋄ In the distance, sustainable towers and parks stretch for miles—Seraph City is a city as large half of California! It's rumored that all people left on planet Earth moved here long ago as part of a global plan to fix climate change very quickly. Citizens of this city, called Seraphan, believe it to be true—that this mega-city is the only remaining city Earth, and that the rest of it is a bright planet of thriving nature untouched by humanity. It might be true, but no one can know for sure. There is a massive, tall wall made of solar arrays which surrounds Seraph City on 3 sides, and the vast ocean is the 4th side. Seraphan have never seen outside the solar walls, and rumors have existed for generations about what lies beyond. One says The Carbon Coast lies beyond—a land of ash and smoke which would kill anyone foolish enough to journey outside of Seraph.

⋄ The more miserable Kota's life becomes, the more she's willing to risk running away to see for herself. The way things have been going lately, she doesn't care about the danger—she just needs to find her purpose. Would you risk your life to find your purpose, or could you be patient and wait for it to be discovered? ⍚ WHAT IS THE SOLARPUNK SERIES?/WHAT'S GOING ON? ⍚
- ASMR Weekly has teamed up with author Connor Carbon to bring the sights & sounds of his solarpunk story world called The Carbon Coast to animated life! The Carbon Coast started off as an eco-fiction novel and Connor will be done writing it sometime in 2019. He loves the scenes of his book so much he is collaborating with ASMR Weekly to turn them into animated scenes for his channel! Connor Carbon was also one of the first ASMRtists ever, known originally as GnarGnar9000 and made ASMR videos in 2010!

⍚ HOW MANY VIDEOS WILL COME TO THE SOLARPUNK SERIES? ⍚
- We're not sure yet—maybe 11, maybe 24, but not higher than 38!

⍚ WILL THIS SLOW DOWN MY FAVORITE HARRY POTTER VIDEOS? ⍚
- Nope! Connor made sure I didn't slow down because he is a big Harry Potter fan too!

⍚ WHAT IS SOLARPUNK? ⍚
- Solarpunk is different than Steampunk and Cyberpunk. Solarpunk imagines a sustainable future of the Earth, with solar panels and gardens everywhere, eco-friendly technology, less capitalism and political corruption, and no more climate change! Solarpunk futures also do not discriminate because of race, gender, identity, ability, and more! Humans are seen and treated equally, and so are plants and animals! Nothing is perfect, "Utopia" is not possible, but Solarpunk is trying to get as close as possible: a better future for all of us and our planet!

⍚ WHAT EXACTLY IS THE CARBON COAST? ⍚
- It is the name of Connor Carbon's novel. It is also the name of the story world from his novel which is made of many things, such as these videos and more. It's kind of like how "Harry Potter" means more than just the books!
