The word Pasithenics comes from the Greek root Pasithea, Goddess of Relaxation and personification of Relaxation, Meditation, Hallucinations and other altered states of consciousness. Pasithea was the wife of Hypnos, God of Sleep ✨
From this member of the Greek Pantheon, we get the word Pasithenics, which is the activity of engaging in a meditative focus (of a non-sexual nature) to relax by utilizing AVRIC and ASM Response triggers with the objective of relieving anxiety, general stress and other relaxation purposes ✨🌙
