A Whispered Prayer To The Earth [ASMR]

Trying times require strength we don't believe we have. What helps me is connecting with the Earth, drawing energy from her and remembering that I am of her. Earth beneath me
Hear and receive me
Take and relieve me of the burden I bear
For I am your child till the end of time
And for better or worse, I fall back to you
In my time of need I return to your wisdom
In stillness I listen to your reassuring whisper
That lets me believe in the promise you gave
Since the beginning of time, it follows me to the grave
That while I may be mortal and my power subdued
There's no step that I take
No path that I make
That you wouldn't carry me through
And if I should fall, I fall in your lap
And firmly you'll hold me
Above the depths I feared would swallow me.
In your embrace I know no fear
In your breath I hear what I've known to be true
Underneath the chaos
And the fights I thought I'd lose
I've never taken a step
Never made a path
That you didn't carry me through
In these trying times I turn to you
I take a rest and once I'm through
And I've regained my strength and direction
You'll lift up my feet like you always do
And with all my might I'll carry on
I feel your warmth in my flesh and bone
I hear your voice inside my core
You make me strong
For you are the very essence in me
The thing I'm made of and always will be
No matter where my path will lead me
You stand dauntless right here beneath me
Bearing the weight of the world
All the way
To the other end of it all.

Thanks to you I stand tall

Thanks to you I carry on

Thanks to you I live and breathe to see another dawn
