Return of the Ghost - Act I: The Dream [ ASMR Phantom of the Opera fan-fiction ]

The viewer, Christine, an unknown generation of the Daae family, is visited by the Opera Ghost in what appears to be a dream. Professor Clemmons (an unrelated, fictional character of mine) seems to be involved as well, and there may just be more behind the origination of The Ghost than we think.

I've taken some small liberties with the original story and characters in this fictional improv performance to tell the story of the Opera Ghost's return set in a post-apocalyptic period. This is Act I. There will probably be 1 or 2 more acts, with an eventual full length video performance of The Ghost himself. Or at least that's where my mindset is at this point in time. Who knows, things can change. I also would like to have The Ghost become a mainstay character in my "universe", and would also prefer to have a silicone mask for him to not only account for, and provide a more realistic visual representation of, his disfigurement, but so that it's not me behind the mask. But we'll see where that goes. Viewers and subscribers have been waiting long enough for this, so I owe it to them to at least get something going.

I hope you enjoy. Most importantly, I hope this does the book and fans justice. I tried my best. It's a huge undertaking to think I have what it takes to dare and try to pull of a performance of this caliber, but you know what they say about taking risks...

Now all we need is someone in the ASMR community to do a Christine performance. Calming Escape? Indigo Stars? PeacefulMind? Maybe one of them will be up to the task. Wink wink, nudge nudge.

What is ASMR?

ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current (non-scientific) name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering and personal attention.

My videos are not only meant to help induce ASMR or "tingles", but also help provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer while helping to relieve their anxiety relief, stress relief, insomnia relief, to help those suffering with PTSD or depression, to serve as a study aid and much more.
