Ear licking channels make close mouth sounds on a binaural mic a fixed part of their uploads. Many of these creators also post kissing, ear eating or general mouth sound videos, so their channels centre on wet, close-mic triggers rather than talking.

Most record on a binaural dummy-head mic and work directly on its silicone ears. Videos often alternate between the left and right ear, and some run for an hour or longer at a slow, even pace. Volume varies a lot between channels, from soft and distant to loud and very close, and some creators add whispered lines while others keep to the sound alone.
