Tapping ASMR channels

Tapping is one of the oldest ASMR triggers: fingertips and nails on wood, glass, plastic and everything in between. These creators come back to it in most of their trigger videos.

About tapping ASMR channels

Tapping channels feature it throughout their uploads, from full tapping sessions to assortments where it is one trigger among several. Many of these creators also post scratching, no-talking or object sound videos, and some build their whole channel around a collection of objects.

Common objects include wooden boxes, glass bottles, phone cases, books and makeup palettes. Some creators use long acrylic nails for a sharper click, and others tap with bare fingertips for a softer sound. Channels differ in pace too: some post slow sets on one surface suited to sleep, others fast, layered sessions that jump between objects.
