Digital Perm ASMR | Soft, Bouncy Curls Before Her Journey Home

After visiting family in Seoul following the holiday, this client from Incheon stopped by before heading home. A little time for herself, and a beautiful finish to her visit.

Her service combined straightening with a digital perm. Today’s video follows the lower lengths, shaped into soft, bouncy waves with natural movement.

My Own Formula Language
A soft finish begins with thoughtful chemical preparation. I assess roots, mid-lengths, and ends separately, considering treatment history and strand-test responses.

Through 27 years of study, analysis, and records, I have developed my own formula language. Like seasoning a dish, I seek the right balance for each client. My numbers describe mixing ratios and treatment intensity—not pH readings.

Previously treated lengths need gentler care. I tailor formulation and processing time to the softening needed, respecting the hair’s remaining strength. This preparation guides the heat work that follows.

Consider pH together with the reducing system, processing time, and strand-test response. Use product-compatible formulas and adjust heat to each section’s condition.

In my experience, fresh digital curls relax over about two weeks. I plan the initial shape with this in mind. Many of my long-haired clients return twice a year; shorter styles often need three visits. Individual timing varies.
