Today’s service was a digital setting perm for medium-length fine hair.

Her hair had become weaker from repeated coloring and perm treatments, so the most important part was not just heat.

A beautiful digital perm requires the right balance of softening, moisture, chemical penetration, and heat control.

The chemical must properly reach the inner structure of the hair to create a beautiful and lasting curl.

Because her hair was fragile, I selected a rod size one level larger than usual.

This created a softer and more natural curl while reducing unnecessary stress on the hair.

After the digital perm, I also refreshed her roots with a clean light brown color.

The digital setting perm took about 3 hours, and the root color took about 1 to 1.5 hours.

The total service time was approximately 3.5 to 4 hours.

PROFESSIONAL TIP

For fine and damaged hair, smaller rods do not always create a better result.

Choosing the correct rod size, controlling the chemical process, and protecting the hair condition are the key points for a beautiful perm.

A good result is not created by one technique alone.

It comes from understanding the hair history and customizing every step.
