In this video I am going to explain what Mindfulness is and why it is so good for you.
Mindfulness is talked about a lot but do you actually know what it is and how to do it? It is a skill that needs practice so after I have explained what it is in this video I am going to show you how to do it in my next one.
Basically, mindfulness is an awareness of what is happening moment to moment both inside and outside of ourselves, and calmly accepting these things. When we move away from this and get caught up in our heads it can have a very negative impact on our mental health and wellbeing, so mindfulness is vital in the prevention and treatment of emotional and psychological disorders.
