Moon Healing Yoga Nidra for Mothers

Shaylee Taylor | Liberation Yoga

In New Zealand where I live it is Mothers Day this week so I thought it would be fitting to do a juicy full moon healing yoga Nidra for mothers. It doesn't have to be a full moon to do it, that's just part of the visualisation. This would be beneficial for all parents, caregivers, women identifying folk or any human in general really, but please note the wording has been directed at times to mothers. What do you like doing for mothers day? Let me know in the comments below!

A note about this video - it would only be fitting that my toddler arrived home earlier than anticipated and announced her frustration that she couldn't get into Mums room (face palm) when I was in the last two minutes of this recording. I thought about cropping out where you faintly hear her in the background but decided to keep it in as like many of you, I am a mother and this tiny human disruption is such an authentic part of what it is to be a parent and a brilliant avenue to surrender and allow it to bring us deeper into our practice.

Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that uses a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. It is deep relaxation and rest without sleep - although it's fine if you do fall asleep! Restoration before liberation. Yoga Nidra is a form of meditation that helps with insomnia, anxiety, stress, adrenal fatigue, chronic pain, PTSD and so much more.
