ASMR Preparing Your Majesty For The Festival | Ancient Egyptian RP

Today's the daaaayyyyy, the sun is shining, the heb nefer en inet festival is underwayyyy! We're going to be getting you ready for the Beautiful Festival of the Valley, or the Wadi Festival. This would be somewhat similar to Day of the Dead, as it was a festival celebrating the dead. The festival could go on for days, and people would bring flowers to the tombs of their ancestors, as well as getting drunk and sleeping with the tombs.

You are Your Majesty, the Pharaoh of Egypt. I am Kiya, a servant charged with getting you ready for the festival. I'll wash your face, put on some cream (used as a lotion and sunscreen), line your eyes with kohl (used for decoration and to reduce sun glare), paint your lips (decoration), put on your wig (most people used wigs, especially royalty), and help you with your jewelry. This is a unisex RP, as the regimen was generally the same for whatever gender, and I only used the term “Your Majesty” to refer to you :)

I did a lot of research with this one, making sure to make the regimen as close to historically correct as I can. There are certain things that can't be helped, but I did my best. The time period is this video is set in the New Kingdom, so my hair and dress are of that time period. The Wadi festival had been recorded as a Middle & New Kingdom event, coupled with the Opet Festival in close time proximity.
