Ancient Egyptian Mummification (Detailed & Cinematic) 🌅 ASMR Soft Spoken Historical RP

Thousands of years ago, the Ancient Egyptians believed that if their bodies were preserved, they may go on to the Afterlife and live just as they did on Earth. They fine-tuned their methods for artificial mummification over millennia—using the natron salt by the river to desiccate the body enough that bacteria wouldn't grow, cleaning the insides with wine that aided with preservation due to the alcohol content, and slathering on resins to seal the body from outside moisture. The result being humans from lifetimes and lifetimes ago being impeccably preserved and recognizable to this day.

This is a totally ASMR-ified recreation of mummification. Things are a little “hurried” or left out, as it's not super relaxing to spend a long time snip-snappin' the diaphragm to pull out the lungs or covering you in baking soda salt? That, and it took around 70 days to do all of this. There would also be a lot more people working on this process than just little ol' me :) check out the list of attributions for some awesome videos and articles on all of it!

Audio came out a little strange—I filmed with 3 construction sites nearby so my noise reduction worked overtime to take out the machine noises, and I wasn't close enough to the mics. It reminds me of the 3Dio audio, and everything else turned out perfect, so it was one of those "it is what it is" sitches.
