ASMR Sleep Hypnosis: Pampering for Insomnia | Soft Spoken

I have created this soft spoken ASMR soothing spa style sleep hypnosis for insomnia to pamper your mind and body. The hypnosis begins with slow tempo meditative music shown to reduce both physiological and psychological stress levels (see research below). It also includes a Tibetan Singing Bowl induction shown to reduce feelings of tension, anxiety, and depression (see research below) and is often used to settle and focus the mind. The main part of the hypnosis uses clinically validated techniques for stress, anxiety, depression reduction and sleep. As this is an ASMR hypnosis, multiple triggers for relaxation and sleep are also included.

Over the last decade or so, there has been an emerging practice of integrating Eastern philosophy with Western psychological practices. These new models and interventions focus more on our relationship to thought and emotion than their content and are often referred to as 3rd wave Cognitive Behavioural Therapies. They emphasize such issues as mindfulness, emotions, acceptance, relationships, values, goals and meta-cognition and the evidence base supporting the effectiveness of these approaches is robust and growing fast. This video has been inspired by this emerging practice of integrating East and West and also embraces the ASMR's community’s love of personal attention and pampering videos.

Meditation is a skill, so in order to experience the maximum benefit, it needs to be practiced regularly. This ASMR pampering meditation can also be used as an aid for sleep, as such it concludes with a deep sleep induction and an extended soundscape of rain and gentle thunder sounds.

I am a doctor of clinical psychology (credentials below) and have successfully used the techniques in this video to help patients attending my clinic. I hope that they help you too.
