👋 I'm Shaylee, I am the founder of Liberation Yoga. I started practicing yoga casually 10 years ago to gain flexibility. Little did I know that it was my mind that would really gain that flexibility and that I was beginning a relationship with yoga that to this day I continue to learn from. In 2017 on becoming unwell with PTSD, endometriosis and other pelvic disorders yoga became my safety net and in a natural progression of my interest I received my 200-hr yoga teacher certification. I have since gained further certifications in Trauma Informed Yoga and Social Justice, iRest, Yoga Nidra and Restorative Yoga. I have a deep interest in the power of conscious rest and my classes are gentle, introspective, trauma informed and accessible.
