ASMR - Show and Tell - Antique family film cameras 📷

Hi everyone!

In today’s video, I show you some beautiful antique cameras we have at my grandparents’. These were bought and used by my great-grandfather for the Kodak Brownie pliant six-20, and by my grandfather presumably for the Brownie six-20 model C. I also show you a more recent camera, a Sony MiniDV Digital Handycam, in which I found the short footage of my brother and I playing music, which I’ve posted on Instagram recently.
I don’t have that much to say about these cameras at the time of recording as I’ve never used them, but I’ve made some research later on.

The Kodak Brownie pliant six-20 was made in the USA from the early 1930s, some 620 film is needed to use it, it seems these are hard to find these days, as they have been discontinued in 1995. Yet, you can respool 120 film onto a 620 spool if you want to.
The Kodak Brownie six-20 model C was made in the UK from 1946 to 1953/57, some 620 film is also needed. It was a simple, cheap camera for anyone who wanted to document their everyday life.
The Sony MiniDV Digital Handycam was made from 2003 and is everything you can expect from an early 2000’s digital camera, the quality is not that great in comparison with current cameras, but maybe they’ll get trendy again at some point.
