Hello everyone! Thank you for clicking. Tonight's video is session 2 of our cognitive behavioural therapy series, and in this session we are tackling two main areas: Problem Statement and SMART Goals. This video features lots of soft speaking and personal attention so I hope you enjoy.

These videos are all based on a particular textbook which I am following along quite closely, the book is: The CBT Handbook: A Comprehensive Guide to Using CBT To Overcome Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Low Self Esteem and Anger, by Pamela Myles and Roz Shafran (2015). I am not affiliated with this book in anyway but I do recommend it and it is only £5 on Amazon at the moment!

Disclaimer - I am not a real cognitive behavioural therapist or mental health professional, so please take this video with a grain of salt, it if helps you then that is amazing however please bear in mind that it is just a roleplay meant for relaxation and entertainment purposes. If you have mental health problems then I urge you to consult your GP or seek help from a real therapist. I have done quite a lot of self study on CBT and I have many books on the subject as I find it fascinating, so one of my goals of this video is to share with you some of the things i have learned that might help you.
